Story of an artist, Daniel Johnston

Story Of An Artist, Daniel Johnston

This song found its way into a mix a friend made me for my travels. I've heard it in the past, but it resonates with me now more then ever. I cannot stop listening to it.

The video is very distracting. HERE is a link to just the song, if you prefer.

Perhaps on the trails you can find a place to stop and watch The Devil and Daniel Johnston.. it's a full length documentary about him. It's beautiful and tragic and great..

Thanks, David and Tammy. Missing you and NC!

Amy. Amazing documentary...it came out around the same time he had that exhibit of drawings at a gallery on 27th st.; the name is slipping my mind. Good show though.

this morning, after having watched TDADJ, i decided coffee and inspiring blogs were going to be the order of business. 2 hours later, boonville etc.

Hi Raymond, Daniel Johnston is an inspiration, maybe a bit depressing, but an inspiration nonetheless. Thanks for scrolling through the mess that is my (virtual) life. All my best.
